PeopleSoft HR Solutions Architect

Location: Albany, NY 50% onsite requiredMust be located in New York StateIn addition, onsite at client's request (e.g., onboarding, offboarding, Meetings with Executives or Business that can't be accomplished remotely, and emergencies)DescriptionAt the direction of ITS, the senior solutions architect will develop technical strategies to enhance the New York State HR systems while maximizing PeopleSoft capabilities, limiting customizations, and increasing interoperability. The senior solutions architect will have at least 8 to 10 years of related experience, as well as PeopleSoft implementation experience and the ability to identify technical options and implementation strategies for requirements not efficiently delivered by PeopleSoft configurations.Mandatory RequirementsExperience (15+ Years)RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Math, Sciences, Engineering, or technical background preferred but not required12 years of relevant experiencePeopleSoft implementation experienceAbility to identify technical options and implementation strategies for requirements not efficiently delivered by PeopleSoft configurations.Participate in finalizing business requirements to develop a firm understanding of the needs.Participate in finalizing functional and technical requirements.Document legacy system architecture, as needed.Develop strategies to enhance the interoperability of the existing PeopleSoft systems to increase data reliability, streamline workflows, and eliminate duplicate data entry.Develop technical solutions to deliver existing and new functionality while reducing the number and complexity of PeopleSoft customizations.Develop technical solutions to meet business needs not effectively and efficiently delivered by PeopleSoft.Participate in prototype and proof of concept exercises.Identify opportunities to streamline the number and complexity of interfaces to PeopleSoft and other applications.Document the to-be architecture, taking into consideration state shared services, enterprise standards, and security requirements.Participate in the development of project, workstream, and sprint planning to sequence the delivery of system enhancements and new functionality to ITS business owners.Develop artifacts required to support software development life cycle standards.Develop analyses and other products to support program governance and project management effortsAble to work with the reports and presentations on technical analyses and recommendations.Able to create Reports and presentations on prototype and proof of concept exercises.Able to develop Software development lifecycle (SDLC) artifacts to industry and State standards.Thank you,Katta DasharathamRecruiting Team LeadSligo Software Solutions Inc.dasharatham.katta@sligosoft.comwww.sligosoft.comDirect: (518) 818-6239Office: (518) 444 0459 x 116Fax : (518) 444 0457https://www.linkedin.com/in/dasharatham/**Due to my back-to-back calls, there are times when I might miss your calls.
