Orthopedic Technologist
Orthopedic TechnologistOur client is seeking an experienced Orthopedic Technologist to support orthopedic services in a clinical setting. This is a temporary assignment with the potential to convert to a permanent role, subject to performance and business needs.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist orthopedic physicians with fracture care and orthopedic procedures
Apply, remove, and adjust casts, splints, braces, and other orthopedic devices
Prepare patients for orthopedic examinations and procedures
Provide patient education regarding cast care, splint use, and post-procedure instructions
Ensure proper handling, cleaning, and maintenance of orthopedic equipment and supplies
Accurately document patient care activities in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an orthopedic technologist training program or equivalent relevant experience
Current BLS certification
Demonstrated experience in an orthopedic clinic, hospital, or similar healthcare setting
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, positioning, and assisting patients
Work ScheduleDay shift
Monday to Friday
