Experienced Alignment Technician

As The Alignment Technician for Big O Tires, you will perform Alignments and fluid changes when needed associated with store products and services in an accurate and timely manner. You will work alongside the store manager in ensuring shop performance and manage your work schedule.Benefits include dental, vision, life insurance, 401k, disability, accident insurance, legal shield, paid time off, weekly pay, employee discount program, employee assistance program, hourly pay plus commission, a 5 day work week, and uniforms provided.Essential duties and responsibilities include providing fast and friendly customer service, promoting sales through explaining benefits of service and products to customers, maintaining timely and professional communication with management, employees, vendors and customers, keeping manager informed of any maintenance problems and/or any issues that need attention, safely operating customer vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions, maintaining a clean environment, tools and equipment, using company guidelines, knowing and adhering to company policies and procedures, utilizing and performing all duties on the company checklists to meet consistent adherence to policies, procedures and expectations, performing alignments, and at times fluid/tire services, safely operating vehicle lifts and other equipment needed to complete servicing, and upkeep alignment equipment with the help of management and vendors.Qualifications include availability to work holidays, weekends, and after regular business hours as needed, reliable transportation to work, ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials, ability to consistently operate a computer, printer and alignment equipment, capability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles, willingness to work with hazardous materials and in outdoor weather conditions, complies with personal protection equipment (PPE) regulations, ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or driving) for up to nine hours per shift, ability to move and lift up to 75 pounds, ability to meet company requirements including successful pre-employment drug screening, motor vehicle report (MVR), and criminal background check, willingness to work with owner and store manager to complete services with a focus on quality and in a timely manner, a proven record of service and leadership, and knowledge on aligning front and rear axles, shims, and other related components.Join our team today!
