Role Description The Principal role is a full-time, on-site position based in Trenton, NJ. The Principal will oversee all aspects of school operations, including academic programming, faculty management, and school culture development. Responsibilities include leading curriculum development, supervising and supporting teachers, assessing academic performance, and fostering a strong and inclusive school culture. The Principal will collaborate with school leadership, engage with parents, and ensure adherence to educational standards and organizational goals. Qualifications Leadership and Management: Proven ability to lead and develop a team, manage school operations, and foster a positive and inclusive school climateEducational Expertise: Strong background in curriculum development, instructional strategies, and student achievement assessmentCommunication and Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to work effectively with staff, students, families, and the communityCommitment to Equity: Passion for advancing educational equity and addressing systemic injustice through school leadershipProblem-Solving: Strong decision-making, organizational, and conflict resolution skillsExperience in K-12 Education: Prior experience as a principal, assistant principal, or other leadership role in education is preferredMinimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in Education, Administration, or a related field, and valid school administrator certificationDedication: Willingness to go above and beyond to support a mission-driven community
