Senior Process Engineer

Responsibilities:Lead the design and implementation of chemical processes from inception through to full-scale production.Conduct feasibility studies, process simulations, and economic evaluations to determine the viability and profitability of new processes.Optimize existing processes to improve efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.Develop and implement process control strategies to monitor and maintain production parameters within specified targets.Collaborate with R&D teams to scale-up new products from laboratory to production scale.Troubleshoot and resolve process issues to ensure continuous operation and minimal downtime.Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance and support as needed.Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to recommend improvements and ensure compliance.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field; advanced degree (Masters or PhD) preferred.10+ years of proven experience as a Chemical Process Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Strong knowledge of chemical process design, simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS), and process control systems.Experience with process safety management and regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, etc.).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Ability to lead projects, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications:Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or other process improvement methodologies.Benefits:Competitive salary commensurate with experience.Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance.Retirement savings plan (401k) with company match.Professional development opportunities and tuition reimbursement.Flexible work hours and a supportive work environment fostering innovation and career growth.
