CNC Weekend Lead Machinist - Weekend Position

You will work 36 hours (Friday- Sunday), get paid for 40 hours (4 bonus hours) and enjoy 4 days off in the week! You will help oversee operational activities and ensure excellent quality control as well as oversee the other 4 weekend employees.Responsibilities:Oversee other weekend shift employeesJob preparation including building tools, fixturing, material prep, loading work/tool offsets, etc. according to programmer specificationsCoordinate with programmers on job progress & potential improvementsTroubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashionLoad and unload equipment and materialsProvide innovative solutions to improve shop efficiencyConduct routine preventive maintenance on the shop floorLog and record readings for machined partsQualifications:Previous experience in shop operations or other related fieldsFamiliarity with machine shop and quality lab tools and equipmentStrong troubleshooting and critical thinking skillsAbility to handle physical workloadAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment
