As we expand into aerospace and other high-reliability industries, we are committed to engineering excellence, continuous improvement, and delivering world-class products to our customers.Position SummaryThe Engineering Intern will support cross-functional engineering projects and manufacturing initiatives while gaining hands-on experience in a precision machining environment. This role provides exposure to project execution, process development, continuous improvement, and production optimization. The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Support & ExecutionAssist in engineering projects from concept through implementationSupport development of project plans, timelines, and documentationCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, and Supply ChainTrack project tasks, milestones, and deliverablesManufacturing & Process SupportAssist in developing and documenting manufacturing processesSupport new product introduction (NPI) activities and production readiness effortsHelp analyze workflows, layouts, and material flow for efficiency improvementsParticipate in initiatives focused on cost reduction, yield improvement, and cycle-time reductionQuality & ComplianceSupport compliance with AS9100, IATF 16949, ISO, and internal quality standardsAssist with documentation such as work instructions, SOPs, and control plansParticipate in root cause analysis activities (5-Why, Fishbone, 8D)Work with Quality Engineering on corrective and preventive actionsContinuous ImprovementAssist with Lean and continuous improvement initiativesAnalyze production data to identify trends and opportunitiesSupport standardization and best practice implementationRequired QualificationsCurrently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fieldStrong academic performance and interest in manufacturing or engineering projectsBasic understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings (preferred but not required)Preferred QualificationsPrevious internship, co-op, or hands-on project experienceExposure to manufacturing, machining, automotive, or aerospace environmentsFamiliarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement conceptsExperience with CAD software or ERP/MRP systems is a plusSkills & CompetenciesStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsEffective communication and teamworkOrganized, detail-oriented, and eager to learnHands-on mindset with willingness to spend time on the shop floorAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentWhat We OfferHands-on, real-world engineering experienceMentorship from experienced engineering professionalsExposure to advanced manufacturing and aerospace applicationsOpportunity for future full-time employmentCollaborative, performance-driven cultureYou Should Be Proficient InIndustrial and Manufacturing EngineeringMechanical Design & Engineering
