Job Title: Manufacturing EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting manufacturing technicians with equipment issues during our batch cycle, which runs from Tuesday night into Thursday afternoon. The Manufacturing Engineer will also standardize processes and documentation, including reviewing, writing, and executing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and equipment manuals. Additionally, the role requires expertise in identifying equipment trends, adjusting preventive maintenance cycles, and implementing changes based on trend analysis. Proficiency in change controls, corrective and preventative actions (CAPAs), and change management within the industry is essential.ResponsibilitiesSupport manufacturing technicians with equipment issues during batch cycles.Standardize and document processes, including SOPs and equipment manuals.Review and identify equipment trend issues and suggest improvements.Implement changes based on equipment trend analysis and become the equipment expert.Manage change controls, CAPAs, and preventative actions effectively.Essential Skills4+ years of experience in a regulated environment (pharma/medical/biotech).4+ years of experience as a manufacturing engineer/process/reliability engineer.4+ years of experience in equipment troubleshooting.4+ years of experience in writing, reviewing, and executing SOPs/work instructions.4+ years of experience in reviewing equipment trends and identifying failures.4+ years of experience in change management, CAPAs, and preventative action.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering.Experience in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.Knowledge of pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturing processes.Work EnvironmentJoin a pioneering company specializing in the creation of medical isotopes for cancer detection and treatment, as well as the development of clean fusion energy. The role supports the Therapeutics division in Janesville, which focuses on commercially manufacturing radioisotopes for cancer therapies.
