Community Outreach coordinator (LGBTQ+)

This professional must have an in-depth understanding of LGBT+ issues, as well as strong interpersonal and organizational skills. (MUST HAVE DRIVERS License and DPS level one background check) The duties and responsibilities of our Program Coordinator include: Developing, implementing, and managing programs that support and engage senior community members Facilitating workshops and sessions to support community members. Plan activities that engage community members (arts, music, social activities) Working closely with other organizations, groups, and service providers to promote LGBT+ initiatives Assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote LGBT+ inclusivity Providing information and resources to LGBT+ individuals, including counselling and support services Organizing and participating in community outreach activities to promote LGBT+ rights and awareness Planning and facilitating group activities for all community center members. Helping with fundraising efforts Encouraging dialogue and understanding between the LGBT+ community and the wider society Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour License/Certification: Driver's License (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Lakeside, AZ 85929 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Lakeside, AZ 85929: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
