Certified Surgical Technologist Location: Kansas City, MO Agency: Lancesoft Inc. Pay: $27 to $37 per hour Shift Information: Rotating - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 1 Years Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position About the Role The OR Tech 3 (Tier 3) is a senior-level surgical technologist who assists the operating room team with complex and high-risk procedures. As a lead or mentor in the OR , this role supports patient care, manages surgical instruments and equipment, and ensures strict maintenance of the sterile field. The OR Tech 3 may perform first or second scrub responsibilities depending on the procedure. Patient populations: adolescent (12–17), adult (18–64), geriatric (65) Key Responsibilities Assist the OR team in patient care, equipment handling, and supply management. Perform first scrub duties : handle instruments, supplies, and anticipate surgeon needs. Perform second scrub duties : assist surgeon/surgical assistant with sponging, suctioning, cutting sutures, holding retractors, and manipulating endoscopic cameras. Take the lead role in complex procedures , ensuring sterile technique and efficient workflow. Mentor and support junior OR staff as needed. Work in high-risk or complex surgeries including robotic, total joints, neuro/spine, burn, vascular, and CV procedures (for CV-certified candidates).
