BartenderGraduate Princeton is seeking an energetic and service-driven Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. This role is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience by crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a welcoming bar atmosphere, and providing attentive, knowledgeable service.Responsibilities:Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and presentation standardsProvide attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable service to all guests, creating a welcoming bar experienceTake and process guest orders accurately using the POS system, handling cash and credit transactionsMaintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including bar top, service areas, and equipmentEnsure the bar is fully stocked with liquor, beer, wine, garnishes, and supplies throughout each shiftMonitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service in compliance with all laws and company policiesCheck guest identification to verify legal drinking ageCollaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth and efficient serviceSet up and break down the bar for service, including opening and closing dutiesFollow all health, safety, and sanitation standardsAssist with inventory counts and notify management of low stock or supply needsQualifications:Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, bar, or hotel environment preferredStrong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, and wineExcellent guest service and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and perform efficiently in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and accuracy in order-taking and cash handlingBasic math skills for handling payments and making changeAbility to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods of timeFlexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidaysMust meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol in New JerseyTIPS or similar alcohol service certification preferred (or ability to obtain upon hire)Professional appearance and demeanor
