Registered Telemetry Unit Nurse | Riverside, California
Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for an experienced Registered Nurse to provide specialized care in a Telemetry Unit setting. The role demands clinical expertise, critical thinking, and excellent communication skills to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care based on comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Monitor cardiac and respiratory status, promptly reporting changes to physicians.
Guide patient and family education efforts to promote understanding and adherence to care plans.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maintain consistent standards and positive patient outcomes.
Utilize EPIC EMR system efficiently for patient documentation and communication.
Apply knowledge of ventilator management and cardiac life support protocols when required.
Qualifications:
Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Prior Telemetry nursing experience and ventilator management skills preferred.
Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system required.
COVID-19 vaccination and boosters are preferred but not mandatory.
