What We Need YOU To DoThe Ohio Environmental Protection Agency wants you to be our newest environmental specialist in the Division of Surface Water (DSW), working at our Central Office in Columbus, OhioIntrigued? We thought you might be!As Ohio EPA’s environmental specialist, you’ll assist with planning, coordinating, and completing total maximum daily load (TMDL) projects. You’ll track the status of projects, compile report sections prepared by other team members, write implementation sections of reports to complete the projects, and provide technical assistance to TMDL project teams as needed.You’ll be identifying innovative approaches and information sources for efficient operation of the TMDL program, as well as coordinating watershed restoration with other staff and analyzing data to determine the effectiveness of project recommendations. You’ll provide special data analysis for policy discussions, special investigations, and litigation support.Additionally, you’ll communicate TMDL program initiatives, priorities, and progress to both internal and external partners, gathering and recording their feedback.
