As the industries have evolved, Roberts Sinto has developed and refined its capabilities to offer a broad range of services and equipment for all industrial applications.Roberts Sinto is currently seeking an Industrial Machine Builder to join our Team in Grand Ledge, MIWhat You Will DoGeneralPositions machine bases and stages sub-assemblies for final assembly.Coordinates machine base placement with other department space requirements and scheduling.Positions bases according to knowledge of unit being assembled and per blueprint drawings.Uses cranes and other devices to move and set materials.Final assembles equipment per engineering drawings.Using hand tools, assembles together sub-assemblies to build entire machine.Confers with engineers to resolve problems encountered during build.Troubleshoots newly assembled equipment.At various stages during assembly troubleshoots equipment to determine any unforeseen problems.Routinely practices safety for themselves and all other employees.Assisting in the installation of hydraulic equipmentAbility to bend piping and tubing, making hoses, and identifying fittingsComplete threading on black piping.Assists Engineering and Sales in run-off of new equipment for customers;disassemblesequipment for shipping.Assists in customer run-offs with assembly expertise.Disassembles equipment and loads to trucks.What We Want From YouHigh School diploma or Equivalent-GED; and five-ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Required Skills3+ years manufacturing experienceIndustrial machine/part building experienceBlueprint readingPrecise measuring abilitiesPreferred SkillsPrior hydraulic and pneumatic experience strongly preferred.Welding experienceMachine maintenance and repair experienceWhen you join our team, you do more than simply switch companies to progress your career.
