This role may be referred to as Maritime Operations. *Must have a Limited Master (Launch Tender) License Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safely operate the launch vessel to transport mooring members and guests between the marina and their vessels in the mooring fieldEnsure the safety of all passengers by following established operating procedures, maintaining situational awareness, and enforcing safety guidelinesProvide courteous, professional, and responsive customer service to all members and guestsAssist passengers with boarding and disembarking, including handling lines as neededConduct routine checks of the launch vessel and report any mechanical issues, safety concerns, or maintenance needs.Keep the launch clean, orderly, and properly equipped at all timesMaintain daily operational logs, including passenger counts, trips completed, and vessel status Communicate effectively with marina staff and management regarding vessel operations and member needs Technical and Physical Requirements Limited Master (Launch Tender) LicenseMust be 18 years or older2-5 years of marina experience preferredAbility to work safely around waterMust be able to swimMust have a valid drivers' licenseAbility to lift 50 pounds Any skills considered standard that a Maritime Operations personnel should possess Minimum Soft Skill Qualifications Eagerness to engage in a growing, fast paced, and industry-leading companyConsistently treats others with dignity and respectGenuinely serves others with humility and a positive attitudeAlways communicates effectively and courteously with fellow teammates and membersContinuously follows policies and procedures while seeking out new and better ways of accomplishing dutiesShows resolve and overcomes difficulties in a positive and productive mannerGladly provides responsive, and high level of service to our teammates and membersEagerly puts forth the extra effort to accomplish dutiesAdapts quickly and efficiently to changing priorities in order to meet teammate or member needs The Company Safe Harbor Marinas provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applications for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
