This role involves supporting production, test, and development environments, ensuring compliance with AF and DoD standards, and maintaining the Authority to Operate (ATO) certification. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in system operations, database administration, and network maintenance.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, upgrade, and enhance new and existing system and server environments, operating systems, interfaces, databases, and applications (e.g., Maximo, Oracle Financials, Workplace).Support hardware and infrastructure in production, test, and development environments, ensuring they replicate live environments as closely as possible according to disciplined engineering practices and AF/DoD standards.Maintain the current baseline of all systems, providing incremental software changes, patches, upgrades, and problem fixes as required.Ensure information for all systems, including network diagrams, is up to date and maintained in a location readily available to the Government.Maintain data storage appliances and provide services such as data cleansing, redundancy resolution, and business rule validation.Monitor and maintain data stores to ensure data availability, accuracy, precision, and responsiveness.Diagnose and resolve software and hardware failures.Perform all security/vulnerability and functionality patches to meet DoD and AF standards, including updates required to maintain active ATO certification. Update the Government on the systems security posture weekly.Perform vulnerability mitigation weekly by generating reports from the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) server and applying all necessary patches and updates.Ensure all Time Compliance Network Orders (TCNOs), Notice to Airmen (NOTAMs), and vendor patches are installed on system servers, databases, and government applications as required by relevant AF instructions and control boards.Apply all vendor-supplied patches and upgrades to server operating systems and databases within specified timelines based on vulnerability ratings.Provide full operational support services, including systems, application, and database administration. Support, maintain, and operate systems, applications, and services.Ensure databases are available, secure, efficient, and reliable. Schedule planned system outages outside of normal business hours.Create and test backups of data, provide data cleansing services, and verify data integrity. Perform a full backup server recovery (COOP Test) of test servers every six months, documenting the results.Assist developers of data exposure services with database engagement.Provide application services sustainment/interfaces and prepare/standardize data retrieved from legacy information sources.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network and systems administration.Proven experience with system operations and database administration.Experience with AF and DoD standards and compliance.CompTIA Network+ or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)CompTIA Security+Active Security clearance requiredIPTA, LLC is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
