Inside Sales Representative

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Support Outside Sales Reps with the following:· Respond to customer inquiries (phone, email, walk-in) regarding product selection, pricing, and availability· Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities to meet or exceed sales targets· Prepare accurate price quotations and sales orders in a timely manner· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers· Provide expert advice and recommendations on building materials and product applications· Handle and resolve customer issues and concerns professionally and efficiently· Coordinate deliveries with operations and logistics teams· Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM system· Assist with inventory management, including stocking, facing, and organizing products· Potentially assist with warehouse tasks, such as loading and unloading materials, as needed· Develop and maintain in-depth product knowledge across various building material categories· Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings· Understand the factors influencing the construction industry and leverage business-level information to engage in relevant conversations with customers· Other duties as assigned Qualifications:· High school diploma or equivalent· Valid Driver’s License· Prior experience in sales, customer service, or the construction industry is preferred· Effectively communicate product information, build rapport with customers, and provide excellent service· General understanding of various building materials, their applications, and industry standards· Utilize sales techniques to drive revenue and achieve sales targets· Provide excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction and build loyalty· Manage inventory, maintain a clean workspace, and handle sales transactions efficiently· Address customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively· Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively and stay organized· Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently· Proficient in Microsoft Office SuitePhysical Requirements and Work Environment:· Perform the position’s physical functions with extensive mobility and ease, including walking, sitting, standing, bending, talking, hearing, seeing and using hands to operate tools necessary for the job· The ability to lift or move up to 25lbs and occasionally lift or move up to 60lbs· The ability to stand for extended periods of time and walk frequently throughout the store· Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity are important for handling tools and merchandise safely· Regular and predictable attendance, including ability to work overtime, is an essential function of this position
