Survey Technician Party Crew Chief

This position is based out of our Charleston, WV, with travel to project sites throughout the region.What You'll DoAssist with field and office surveying tasksOperate and support the use of surveying equipment including robotic total stations, GPS units, and data collectorsSupport construction staking, topographic, and boundary surveysDownload, organize, and manage field data, notes, and drawingsMaintain survey vehicles, equipment, and tools to ensure readiness and safetyFollow established safety procedures and work effectively in outdoor environmentsCommunicate clearly with team members, clients, and field representativesPerform other duties as assigned in support of project teamsRequiredAssociate degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field and 4 years of experience OR 6 years of related field experienceValid driver's license and ability to travel to project sitesWillingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and terrainPreferredKnowledge of surveying tools, equipment, and field proceduresFamiliarity with fundamental math and surveying calculationsExposure to AutoCAD, MicroStation, or survey data processing software (a plus, not required)Strong communication and teamwork skillsAttention to detail and willingness to learnAbility to follow direction and safety protocolsDependable, organized, and proactive in the fieldWhy Mead & Hunt?At Mead & Hunt, we're not just offering a job - we're inviting you to be part of a legacy.
