In this role, you will handle general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, tax compliance, and assist in budgeting and forecasting. Responsibilities include reconciling accounts, analyzing financial data, preparing financial statements, ensuring adherence to accounting standards, and supporting both internal and external audits. This position requires close collaboration with various departments to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial processes.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly financial reporting packages for management, including analysis and supporting schedulesMaintain and update fixed asset schedules, including tracking additions, disposals, and depreciationAssist with physical inventory counts at multiple locations and reconcile inventory recordsSupport preparation for external audits and tax filings by gathering documentation and responding to requestsPerform account reconciliations, analysis, and investigate variancesAssist with cash management activities, including bank reconciliationsContribute to the annual budgeting process and ongoing budget-to-actual analysisSupport various projects and initiatives as directed by managementPerform other accounting and administrative duties as neededQualifications:Expertise in General Accounting and Financial ReportingExperience with Accounting Software and ToolsExceptional Analytical Thinking and Problem-Solving AbilitiesBachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is requiredStrong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPrior experience in manufacturing or consumer goods industry is a plus
