BIM Coordinator / CAD Drafter

About the CompanyResource Consulting Engineers is a growing MEP consulting firm serving K–12 schools, higher education, and public sector clients across Iowa and Nebraska.About the RoleWe're looking for a detail-oriented BIM Coordinator/CAD Drafter to join our Ames office and support our engineering team across a variety of building systems projects.ResponsibilitiesYou'll be responsible for setting up and maintaining Revit project models.Enforcing BIM standards and workflows.Coordinating drawing production and printing.Supporting quality control through all project phases.Day-to-day work includes project file setup using established checklists.Model maintenance and troubleshooting.Coordination with project engineers.Supporting construction administration documentation.QualificationsTwo or more years of CAD/BIM drafting experience in a construction, engineering, or architecture environment.Proficiency in Autodesk Revit is required; experience with AutoCAD and BIM 360 is a plus.Required SkillsYou should be organized, process-minded, and comfortable working across multiple active projects simultaneously.Preferred SkillsMEP drafting experience is preferred but not required — we'll invest in the right person.Pay range and compensation packageCompensation commensurate with experience.
