In this role, you will perform screening and diagnostic mammograms while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and care during imaging procedures.Key Responsibilities:Perform mammographic exams and operate radiologic equipment per safety protocolsAccurately position patients and calculate exposure settingsEnsure quality control and assist with diagnostic interpretationMaintain exam room cleanliness and equipment functionalityGuide and educate patients throughout proceduresAssist with training new technologists and maintaining records/statisticsDemonstrate proficiency in breast imaging, including interventional proceduresStereotactic biopsy experience is preferredPerform additional duties as assignedQualifications:Education:Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent from an accredited programExperience:Minimum 2 years of radiologic imaging experience1+ year of Mammography experience preferredExperience with 3D tomosynthesis/chemosynthesis preferredExperience with stereotactic biopsy is preferredLicenses/Certifications:Florida Radiologic Technologist License (Required)ARRT Certification in Radiography (RT(R)) (Required)ARRT Certification in Mammography (Preferred or must be obtained within 6 months of hire)BLS Certification (Required)Skills & Abilities:Proficient in mammography procedures and imaging protocolsSolid understanding of human anatomy and radiation safetyStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to operate and troubleshoot imaging equipmentComfort with patient positioning, image processing, and EMR/PACS systemsReliable team player with a compassionate, patient-first approachWorking Conditions:Clinical/office setting with exposure to radiation and medical equipmentMust be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs and assist with patient positioningMay require travel between multiple site locationsBenefits:Medical, Dental & Vision InsurancePaid Time Off (PTO) & Holidays401(k) Retirement PlanPaid Life & AD&D InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Identity Theft & Travel AssistanceEmployee Recognition ProgramsEqual Opportunity Employer:
