Our consultants and contracted employees work across the United States.The general scope of the Transmission Construction Services is to provide high voltage electric transmission substation and line construction inspection and oversight services for contracted construction projects. The bulk of the projects will be for new facilities, rebuild projects, and upgrade projects.Requirements10+ years in electric transmission constructionWorked on Overhead or Underground electric transmission linesDescriptionResponsible for providing oversight to the construction contractor ensuring work is done safely and to specification.Experience reading electrical transmission construction prints, drawings, and specifications including environmental, SWPPP and Safety for Transmission projects.Provie oversight of each construction site to help ensure proper compliance & all construction methods are being followed while holding safety as top priority.Be able to be on-site throughout construction while also attending pre-construction meetings as requested.Tracking all construction progress and keep a documented record of “lessons learned” to increase success on next projects.Communicate effectively to the GC/Construction Supplier, while also being professional and keeping a respectful manger when dealing with landowners, local officials, and the general public.Will help with procuring material when necessary and keeping track of all site material throughout the project.
