MP&L Analyst (Novi)

Support the Regional MP&L team (USA, Canada, Mexico) with data analysis, reporting, and cross-functional coordinationPrepare, structure, and interpret data to enable informed decision-making across Transportation, Packaging, Inventory, and CustomsReport directly to the Team Manager, Regional MP&LKey ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and consolidate operational data from Transportation, Packaging, Inventory, and CustomsPrepare structured datasets in Excel (including Power Query / Power BI tools) to support business decisionsDevelop recurring and ad‐hoc reports for performance monitoring across MP&L functionsMonitor key operational KPIs and identify variances, trends, and improvement opportunitiesCombine and link data sources from different domains to create a unified analytical viewSupport Customs data analysis, including classification trends, duty impact, and compliance metricsContribute to improving data accuracy, completeness, and compliance across all MP&L reporting streamsAssist with the creation of dashboards, templates, and standard formats for recurring analyticsProvide timely insights and recommendations to improve logistics efficiency and cost performanceRequired Skills & QualificationsStrong analytical mindset with the ability to work with large datasetsAdvanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data modeling)Experience with Power Query, Power BI, or similar data transformation toolsAbility to combine, merge, and reconcile data from multiple sourcesFamiliarity with logistics, supply chain, or customs-related data (preferred)Excellent attention to detail and structured working styleAbility to communicate insights clearly in both written and visual formatsBachelor's degree or college degree in Supply Chain, Business, Data Analytics, or a related fieldPreferred ExperienceInitial work experience or internship in supply chain, logistics, or data analyticsKnowledge of transportation, packaging, inventory processes, or customs documentationExperience working in an international or multi‐regional environmentPersonal AttributesHigh level of curiosity and motivation to explore and understand complex dataProactive and self-driven individual with a continuous improvement mindsetStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervisionOrganized, reliable, and comfortable working with deadlinesTeam player with strong interpersonal communication skills
