Server PositionVillagio Hospitality Group is growing! We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Server to join our award-winning team at The Black Sheep Restaurant. If you're a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and is dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences, we want you on our team!The Server plays a key role in creating an exceptional dining experience by providing high-quality service and detailed knowledge of our unique menu offerings, which include dishes inspired by and paired with our signature spirits. This role involves guiding guests through tastings, educating them on our spirits, and offering exceptional service to create memorable experiences.Primary Responsibilities:Warmly welcoming guests, seating them appropriately, and providing menus.Accurately and efficiently taking food and drink orders, noting any special requests or dietary restrictions.Delivering orders promptly and accurately, ensuring proper presentation and handling any special requests.Checking on guests, addressing their needs, and ensuring a positive dining experience.Processing payments, including cash and credit card transactions, and providing accurate change.Clearing tables, cleaning the dining area, and ensuring it is presentable.Communicating with the kitchen to ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely delivery.Suggesting menu items, specials, and drinks to enhance the dining experience.Following all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.Working collaboratively with other servers and restaurant staff to ensure smooth service.Addressing any concerns or complaints from customers with professionalism and patience.Following all instructions from management and adhering to restaurant policies and procedures.Maintaining a positive and professional demeanor, even during busy periodsRequirements:Effective verbal communication with customers and colleagues.Understanding and responding to customer needs and requests.Maintaining composure and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.Being punctual, reliable, and dedicated to providing excellent service.Collaborating effectively with other staff members.Addressing customer concerns and resolving issues efficiently.Calculating bills, processing payments, and handling cash.Being familiar with the menu and able to answer customer questions.Accurately taking orders and ensuring food and beverage service is correct.Education/Training/Experience:High School diploma or GED requiredPrior cashier or customer service experience preferredExperience working in a fast-paced environmentPhysical Demands:Ability to work weekends and holidays and a varied scheduleAbility to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periodsAbility to work outdoors in various weather conditionsComfortable lifting up to 25 lbs and moving quickly in a dynamic environmentBenefits We Offer:Competitive pay based on experience401(k) with employer matchingHealth, Dental, and Vision InsurancePaid time off and employee discountsA collaborative and supportive work environment with room for professional growth.Villagio Hospitality Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities
