Ability to work for long periods of time in extreme temperatures.

DRIVER AND CREW LEADERS are responsible for all the items listed and summarized in the BASIC PHYSICAL DEMANDS, as well as the summarized outline of responsibilities below: Previous moving or truck and trailer operating experience preferred but not required.
Prepare and load equipment and supplies needed for the workday, i.e. equipment pre- and post-checks, moving supplies, blankets, water etc.
Safely operate and navigate trucks and trailers to and from local and state-wide areas of operation.
Properly prepare the work site for moving services- laying floor protection, job-site safety checks, properly supervise load and unload of moving trucks, trailers, storage units, etc.
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and use a dolly.
Ability to learn and use all equipment as directed by the Operations Manager and Trainers.
Become familiar with customers’ expectations and learn to anticipate moving their needs.
Follow safety protocols while driving, respect driving regulations and codes and report any work-related injuries and vehicle accidents immediately to the Operations Manager.
Identify and report to Operations Manager any damages to customer’s property and any problems with the work performed or equipment being used immediately.
Responsible for knowing and following all company and department policies and protocols.
Attend required company meetings and company training as required.
Ability to prioritize workload, work under pressure and still, maintain good composure.
Dependable and self-motivated with a desire to work year-round.
Excellent communication & customer service skills.
Properly fill out and complete billing and other necessary paperwork.
When work is a completely clean work area, dispose of trash properly, fold blankets, sweep and clean equipment, etc.
Maintenance of professional appearance and professional conduct always.
Maintain a good driving record.
Must maintain an active Texas Driver’s license and submit a copy of the renewed license to HR. No CDL is required to operate our equipment.
Must be 25 years of age or older.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not have "shifts"- our TYPICAL day starts at 7:15, we break for lunch around 12 or 1, and the day ends somewhere between 3-6 pm.
