This role is crucial for advancing digital factory processes and will support the department's objective to deliver innovative, sustainable, and scalable solutions for digital factory preparation and simulation.What You'll Be Doing:Develop and improve digital factory methods and workflows.2D/3D Layout coordination and workflow improvements2D/3D Simulation workflow development and improvementsFollow company policies and procedures.Occasional DutiesData processing for point cloud registrationRequirements:What You Bring:3+ years of experience in vehicle engineering, CAD systems, manufacturing systems, or digital factory technologiesSupport implementation of the digital factory roadmap for PE/MFG data and process digitalization.Collaborate with internal stakeholders (ex: Production Engineering, OneTech) and technology partners (ex: Autodesk, Dassault) to integrate digital tools into existing workflows.Lead use case development for reality capture, XR visualization, and 3D model federation.Create and maintain standard processes and data governance policies.Support cross-functional teams in implementing digital factory solutions.Communicate KPIs and strategic updates to leadership.Proven track record in project management and technology evaluation.What You May Bring:Experience in process optimization and new process development.Understanding of process optimization for automotive and industrial sectors.Understanding of cloud architecture or cloud computingPlanning and Install experience for new equipmentFamiliarity with Toyota Business Practices and manufacturing CAD systemsExperience with point cloud data and XR visualizationBackground in new model development and production engineeringEducation Required:Four Year Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
