Maintenance Technician

They are currently looking for Maintenance Technicians in their Ames, Iowa location which is about 35 minutes from Des Moines!Maintenance Technicians are responsible for operating, repairing, troubleshooting, and performing preventative maintenance on production equipment throughout the facility. This includes diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, completing maintenance projects such as welding and machining, troubleshooting PLCs and VFDs, monitoring plant systems like air and fire protection, and supporting production teams to keep equipment running efficiently. Technicians also perform machine changeovers, prioritize maintenance tasks, and work with contractors when needed to maintain plant reliability. A lot of Electrical focus on sensors and circuit boards. This position works a night shift schedule (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule, meaning employees work only half the days in a month but must be available every other weekend. The pay is $34.91 per hour (including a 10% shift differential). There will also be overtime opportunities as well.
