Longevity BonusPerfect attendance bonus Pick up bonus available Nurse Aide Trainiee Position Overview:Nurse Aide Trainees (NAT) provide supervised personal and nursing care to meet the physical and emotional needs of residents in our skilled nursing facility. They are under the direction of an RN (registered nurse). Hired applicants will take a training course to allow them to work as a NAT. A portion of the training will be classroom style and a portion will be clinical with supervised hands on training. When training is complete NAT will take the NYS Certification test to be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Once Certified is achieved, wage range will increase. Shift Details: We have opportunities on the following shifts: Shift Options:Days 6a-2p (when available)Evenings: 2p-10p Nights10p-6aQualifications:Eighteen (18) years of age required with a high school diploma or equivalent is required Training and work experience in a geriatric setting preferred but nor requiredAbility to collaborate well with other personnelAbility to communicate well verbally and in writingCaring and respectful attitude towards residents and co workersPhysical stamina for constant activity requiredAbility to perform tasks to established standards of excellence required
