Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer IJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer specializing in medical device manufacturing to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing and optimizing our manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and compliance with industry standards.Responsibilities+ Design manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling.+ Create arrangements for machines within plant facilities to ensure the most efficient and productive layout.+ Develop sequences of operations and specify procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment, affecting product performance.+ Adapt machine or equipment designs to factory and production conditions.+ Incorporate inspection and test requirements into production plans.+ Inspect machinery, equipment, and tools to verify efficiency and initiate corrective actions for quality assurance.+ Develop manufacturing processes applicable to statistical process control and explore related techniques.+ Provide guidance to engineering teams regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.+ Ensure processes and procedures comply with regulations.+ Deliver R&D systems or initiatives related to new technologies or therapies from design to implementation.+ Identify, define, and address problems that are not immediately evident, making minor changes to systems and processes as necessary.+ Communicate primarily with internal contacts within the immediate group to gather, confirm, and convey information.Essential Skills+ Proficiency in SolidWorks, SAP, AutoCAD, Autodesk, and BOM (Bill of Material).+ Experience in blueprint reading and bill of materials creation.+ Process engineering experience, preferably for product final packaging.Additional Skills & Qualifications+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Industrial Engineering is a plus).+ Ability to learn, be developed, and engage in self-development.Work EnvironmentThis position is based onsite, working with various spine products in a medical device manufacturing setting.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Memphis, TN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $34.00 - $34.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
