The ideal candidate is an Epic Super User who can manage the entire revenue cycle process. This role requires strong attention to detail, deep knowledge of payer guidelines, and the ability to improve workflows that drive clean claims and timely reimbursement.ScheduleSchedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.Key ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle medical billing from charge entry to payment posting and collectionsSubmit clean claims electronically and resolve claim rejectionsFollow up on unpaid or denied claims and identify root causesProcess appeals and corrected claims as neededPost payments, adjustments, and reconcile accountsMonitor aging reports and reduce AR daysVerify insurance eligibility and benefits when necessary Epic EMR Super User FunctionsServe as the internal Epic billing expert and go-to resourceTroubleshoot billing and workflow issues within EpicIdentify and recommend process improvementsAssist with system upgrades, testing, and implementation updatesTrain and support staff on Epic billing workflowsEnsure compliance with Epic best practices Compliance & QualityMaintain compliance with HIPAA and payer regulationsEnsure accurate CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding (as applicable)Stay current on billing regulations and payer changesAssist with audits and documentation reviews QualificationsRequired:3+ years of full-cycle medical billing experienceAdvanced working knowledge of Epic EMR (billing modules)Proven experience resolving denials and reducing ARStrong understanding of commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid billingKnowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codesHigh attention to detail and strong analytical skills Preferred:Epic certification or designated Epic Super User experienceStrong problem-solving abilitiesAbility to analyze data and identify trendsExcellent communication and training skillsOrganized and deadline-drivenAbility to work independently and collaboratively What We Offer:Competitive compensationBenefits package (health, dental, vision, PTO, etc.)Supportive team environmentOpportunities for professional growth
