Join a team that has an established track record of successful bridge and engineering design delivery.CAD Technician (All KY Office Locations)Working at the heart of every project, this position generates plans, and models that guide design and construction across Kentucky and beyond. As a CAD technician, you'll belong to a team who produces high-quality deliverables using the latest software and technology.How you will spend your day:Translate sketches, specifications, and calculations from engineers into detailed drawings and plans for bridges, culverts, and retaining walls.Create and modify structural plans.Translate markups and detailed edits provided by Engineers.Coordinate with others on the project team.Provide technical support related to CAD Drawings to other team members.Verifying Quality Control / Quality Assurance of drawings by established procedures.Perform quantity take offs.RequirementsSuccessful candidates will possess• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.• Vocational computer assisted technology training is preferred.• Ability to learn CAD modeling concepts and technical applications.• Must be detail oriented, with proven ability to manage time and meet project deadlines.• Bridge, Retaining Wall, and Culvert detailing experience is a plus.
