Material Handler/Driver

Our client, a manufacturer of high-quality industrial heaters, temperature sensors, and temperature controls, is seeking an experienced Material Handler/Driver to join their team on 2nd Shift . Pay range: $18.00-$22.00/hr. (2nd shift has a 15% Shift Differential) As the Material Handler/Driver , you will unload, check and compare material to purchase orders. Verify count and part numbers. Receive and store materials plus prepare materials for use in all of the production areas. This role also includes safely transporting products to and from a local vendor as required. Maintain records reflecting receipts and disbursements. Responsibilities Receive purchase orders/materials ensuring accuracy of receipts. Assure completion of materials on a daily basis. Label material properly with correct part numbers and distribute material to departments/inventory locations as required. Inspect, count, weigh or measure material or items from incoming shipments for correct part number and count verifying information against purchase order/packing list. Receive in computer system to correct location. Perform cycle counting and make adjustment to records on inventory as directed. Operate forklift as required. Fill pick tickets and kits as requested. Transport materials/products to and from a local vendor using a company vehicle, following all safety and company policies. Load and unload materials for vendor deliveries, ensuring product integrity and accuracy. May be assigned additional tasks as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
