The organization values professionalism, compassion, and high-quality clinical outcomes.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Licensed Clinical Psychologist based in San Diego, CA. The Licensed Clinical Psychologist will provide diagnostic evaluations, psychological testing, and ongoing evidence-based psychotherapy for patients experiencing mental health concerns related to allergy, asthma, and sleep disorders, as well as general psychological conditions. Daily responsibilities include conducting intake assessments, formulating treatment plans, maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation, and collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care. The clinician will provide individual counseling, may offer group interventions, and will deliver psychoeducation to patients and families on coping strategies, behavioral sleep interventions, and adherence to medical treatment. Additional tasks may include participation in case conferences, contributing to quality improvement initiatives, and supporting the development of integrated behavioral health workflows within the practice.Qualifications Strong foundation in Psychology and Counseling Psychology, with demonstrated ability to deliver evidence-based psychotherapy to diverse populations.Proficiency in Psychological Testing, including assessment selection, administration, interpretation, and clear written and verbal communication of results.Experience working with Mental Health conditions commonly encountered in medical settings, such as anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, and health-related stress.Ability to provide Clinical Supervision (if applicable) and mentorship to trainees or early-career clinicians in accordance with licensure regulations.Active, unrestricted license as a Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) in the state of California, or eligibility for licensure within a defined timeframe.Experience or strong interest in integrated or collaborative care within medical practices, particularly in allergy, asthma, sleep medicine, or related specialties.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and with individuals from varied backgrounds.Commitment to ethical practice, ongoing professional development, and adherence to relevant legal and regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, APA ethics).Comfort using electronic health records and basic digital tools to manage clinical workflows and documentation.
