Our ideal candidate brings strong experience in .NET/C# development, full-stack web applications, and relational database design. We value a security-first mindset, attention to code quality, and a passion for building efficient, scalable solutions.Primary ResponsibilitiesInstead of the typical job description, here's a breakdown of tasks and qualities we're looking for in our potential team member:Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using .NET/C#, HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptBuild and optimize relational databases, writing efficient SQL queries and ensuring data integrityDevelop and consume RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core WebAPI and handle data formats such as JSON and XMLCollaborate with team members to conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and improve application performance and securityUtilize tools like Git, Visual Studio, and Azure DevOps to manage source control, deployments, and development workflowsSkills and Qualifications5+ years of professional full-stack development experienceStrong expertise in .NET/C# and building applications with ASP.NET Core (MVC and WebAPI)Proficiency in frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptExperience with SQL and relational database design, preferably Microsoft SQL ServerFamiliarity with source control (Git) and development tools such as Visual Studio and Azure DevOpsUnderstanding of web application security best practices and experience conducting code reviewsExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.Where We’re Looking For ItSchenectady, New York 100% Remote for the right candidateCompensation Package (Salary Transparency for US Based Employees)Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000+Salary is negotiable and the range can be increased based on qualifications, certifications and experience Free Health Insurance Option for all (Single, 2 - Party and Family) 401k Safe Harbor Plan Generous PTO - Maternity / Paternity Leave Revenue Sharing Incentive Certification Reimbursement and Bounty ProgramsOther InformationThe work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it.
