The ideal candidate will provide engaging, standards-based instruction aligned to Minnesota Academic Standards in Physical Education and Health, while fostering lifelong wellness, teamwork, and healthy decision-making skills.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Physical Education and Health.Active and current state of MN PE and Health teaching license.CPR/First Aid certification preferred.Experience preferred with,Teaching PE in a middle school setting.College preparatory rigor in a middle school setting.A classical model of education or a liberal arts college education.Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching practices.Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Passionate about working with middle schoolers and creating a positive learning environmentCandidates must be committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.Application MaterialsCover letterResumeCopy of MN teaching licenseReferencesPosition is benefits eligible.
