National Accounts Manager

Job Type: Full time.About the CompanyPetSafe Brands, formerly Radio Systems Corporation, is a global leader in pet products with brands such as PetSafe®, SportDOG®, Invisible Fence®, Kurgo and Premier Pet.Job SummaryDrive profitable growth of PetSafe Brands products to key customers.ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.Understand the needs and requirements of PetSafe brands customers and their systems in depth.Lead cross‑functional teams with marketing, SBUs, supply chain, and finance to achieve company objectives.Collaborate with customers on product presentations within their environment.Perform administration tasks: pricing, returns, annual customer agreements, monthly reports.Ensure timely and accurate communication for both internal and external customers regarding issues, program changes, and market information.Provide monthly forecasting to the supply chain team or forecasting coordinator.Offer insights and direction for new and current products, pricing, and distribution strategies.Manage PetSafe distribution policies and MAP pricing.Coordinate sales strategies with the web/e‑commerce team.Work with SBUs to reduce discontinued and excess inventory and manage transitions of discontinued products.Understand consumer needs and expectations through methods such as listening to consumer calls in customer care.QualificationsKnowledge of business and management principles related to strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources, leadership, production methods, and coordination.Ability to estimate sizes, distances, quantities, time, cost, resources, or materials needed for work activities.In‑depth understanding of competitive offerings and how they relate to PetSafe products.Understanding of current market dynamics and how to leverage them.Strong understanding of the retail environment and related distribution channels.Superior problem‑solving and analytical skills.Aptitude to multitask and strong attention to detail.Excellent communication skills at all levels.College degree or five years of relevant experience.Negotiation skills.Ability to travel up to 20% overnight.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).AccountabilitiesMeet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales budgets.Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through:Perfect order: smooth order flow with accurate and timely information on product specifications and pricing.Category management: serve as category expert and lead line‑review processes for PetSafe brands and vendors.Achieve specific objectives listed on the Balanced Scorecard (BSC).Continue self‑improvement and learn outside of PetSafe.Ensure accurate and timely administration of pricing programs, annual customer agreements, monthly reports, and expenses.Forecast by SKU within established BSC metrics.BenefitsCompetitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) match.Wellness program with an onsite health clinic and workout facility.Opportunity to bring your dog to work.Equal OpportunityPetSafe Brands is dedicated to offering equal employment opportunity for all teammates and fostering a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
