Inventory Coordinator

*Title: *Manufacturing Administrative Assistant *Location: *Carpinteria, CA 93013 *Pay Rate: *$22-25/hr *Shift: 7-3:30pm M-F* *Duration: 6 months to start (possible extension/conversion!)* *Summary:* * The Manufacturing Admin provides administrative support by conducting research preparing reports and handling requests for information. They support a medium to large team or a senior level manager. Under increasingly limited supervision they perform a wide variety of administrative functions related to the production receiving shipping and inventory of specialty silicone products to ensures timeliness and accuracy in applicable tasks. *Job Description:* * May create and/or track department employee records. * Must be able to make well-grounded decisions and assessments. * Creates and maintains established record keeping systems using paper forms and computerized programs. * Assists with and/or maintains materials labeling program. * Assists with and/or maintains company inventory systems * Assists with and/or maintains company production scheduling report. * Interfaces with other departments to achieve production goals and product shipment requirements. * Works closely with the MRP and QA groups to coordinate manufacturing and testing of materials amp documentation. * May maintain control of area inventory by overseeing cycle counting verifying accuracy of inventory and correcting issues. * May perform data entry tasks. * Responsible for maintaining quality within the scope of the job description. * Ensures that all manufacturing and packaging paperwork is completed accurately. * May research documentation within company quality system programs. * Responsible for reviewing process reproducibility trends of applicable products and applying that knowledge to improve processes and or products. * May assist with technical writing and Document Control Requests as needed. * Works on special projects and/or spreadsheets as required. * Supports multiple departments as required. *Qualifications*: * To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. * The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required. * Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. *Education and/or Experience:* * One year certificate from college or technical school * Or one to two years related experience and/or training * Or equivalent combination of education and experience Computer literate MS WORD/EXCEL/POWER POINT * Knowledge of process production activities in a chemical or mechanical manufacturing environment preferred * Prior experience at NuSil preferred *Language Skills* * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals in English. Ability to create spreadsheets and write routine reports or correspondence. *Mathematical Skills* * Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as addition subtraction multiplication fractions and percentages. * Ability to work in metrics is a must. * Ability to perform calculations and record data accurately. * Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. * Basic understanding of statistical process control SPC and the ability to implement appropriate metrics and monitoring. *Reasoning* * Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form. * Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. *Physical Demands* * The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. * Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * For safety the use of contact lenses for any reason cosmetic or corrective is prohibited on the production floor in the lab areas in the engineering shop or while working on equipment. * The company will provide prescription safety glasses with a current under 12 months vision corrective prescription provided by the employee. * Clerical typingat least 45WPM and use of computer keyboard and 10-key or calculators. * While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit use hands to finger handle or feel and talk and hear. * The employee is occasionally required to stand walk and reach with hands and arms. * The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. * Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus. *HIRING MANAGER NOTES:* _*Must be PC Literate (highly ideal to have ERP experience, company uses SAP)*_ _*Role is 100% onsite*_ _*6 month need to start*_ _*Shift: 7-3:30*_ _*Will be working in SAP all day with data entry and updating work orders, etc.*_ Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour Work Location: In person
