This role will report into senior leadership and play a key part in establishing and managing the finance function from the ground up.The position is responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including high-volume transaction management, reconciliation, reporting, and compliance. You will act as a key finance partner to both internal stakeholders and the end client, providing insight, control, and strategic guidance across the project lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the setup and ongoing development of finance processes, controls, and reporting structuresOversee high-volume financial transactions, including reconciliations, payments, and adjustmentsManage end-to-end reconciliation processes across multiple payment streams and interfacesProduce accurate and timely financial reports (daily, monthly, quarterly, annual)Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory standards, and financial policiesSupport budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow managementAct as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, providing financial insights and recommendationsCollaborate with operational and technical teams to ensure accurate financial integration and reportingDrive process improvements and operational efficiencies across finance workflowsOversee audits, risk management, and compliance activities (e.g. SOX, IFRS where applicable)Manage vendor-related financials and ensure cost control and contract complianceLead and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance environmentMaintain oversight of digital payments, transaction flows, and exception handlingEnsure KPI and SLA adherence across financial operationsRequirementsEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)Master’s degree (preferred)Experience:5+ years in a Finance Manager / Controller role, with 7+ years overall experienceBackground in high-transaction, service-based or project environments (e.g. infrastructure, transportation, utilities, healthcare)Strong experience with reconciliation, financial reporting, and transaction oversightExperience working in high-volume environments (large-scale daily transactions)CPA qualification preferred (not essential)Experience with ERP systems (SAP, PeopleSoft, or similar)Strong understanding of GAAP / IFRS and financial compliance standardsProven experience in audit, risk management, and regulatory complianceStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentAdditional InformationHigh level of client interaction and stakeholder management requiredOpportunity to build and shape a finance function within a major projectCompetitive compensation package, including performance-related bonus
