The Mammo Tech ensures patient safety, comfort, and compliance with regulatory and quality standards such as those established by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.Key ResponsibilitiesImaging ProceduresPerform screening and diagnostic mammography examsOperate mammography equipment safely and efficientlyAdjust technical factors to produce high-quality imagesReview images for clarity and diagnostic quality Documentation and ComplianceMaintain accurate patient records and imaging documentationFollow radiation safety and infection control proceduresEnsure compliance with MQSA, HIPAA, and facility protocolsAssist radiologists with additional imaging views when required Equipment Maintenance and Quality ControlPerform routine quality assurance checks on mammography equipmentReport equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnelMaintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging rooms Required QualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic TechnologyActive ARRT certification in Radiography (R)ARRT Mammography certification (M)State Radiologic Technologist licenseCurrent BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Preferred qualificationsMinimum 1 year of mammography experienceExperience with digital mammography and 3D tomosynthesisStrong patient care and communication skillsPrecision Scans is an equal-opportunity employer, committed to cultural diversity.
