Position: General Superintendent (Nationwide)Location: Nationwide (100% travel required)Salary: $180-$215k DOER-2 Contractors is currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated General Superintendent to provide leadership across multiple projects and field teams nationwide. This role is critical in driving consistency, performance, and accountability across our operations while developing the next generation of leaders.We are looking for a leader who is hungry, humble, and smart —someone who puts in the work, values collaboration, and leads with a team-first mindset to achieve results for the company. Responsibilities: Provide oversight and leadership across multiple heavy civil, foundation, and underground utility projectsTrain, mentor, and develop Superintendents, Foremen, and field personnelEstablish clear expectations and provide practical examples of success to guide teamsEnsure health and safety remains the top priority across all job sitesDrive accountability at all levels of field leadershipEnsure projects are properly planned, staffed, and executed to meet schedule and performance goalsReinforce and gain traction with company processes, procedures, and standardsCollaborate with Project Managers, leadership, and clients to ensure successful project deliveryIdentify risks, inefficiencies, and gaps, and implement solutions proactivelyPromote a culture of teamwork, ownership, and continuous improvementCommunicate openly with executive leadership regarding performance, challenges, and opportunitiesSupport workforce planning and help build strong, scalable field teamsRequirements: 10–15 years of experience in the Utility Scale Power & Renewables industry (heavy civil, foundations, or underground utilities)2–5 years of experience as a Senior Superintendent in the field2–5 years of experience as a Craft Foreman2–5 years of experience as a craft laborer or operatorProven leadership skills with strong, reputable professional referencesDemonstrated ability to train and develop field leaders and crewsAbility to read and interpret construction plans and specificationsExperience working in or alongside competitive industry environmentsStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work effectively with multiple teams to drive company resultsDemonstrated tenacity and ability to gain traction with processes and proceduresWilling and able to travel 100% of the work yearAble to pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, and maintain a satisfactory driving recordPreferred (Not Required): Familiarity with the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) business modelExperience with HCSS software (HeavyJob)Benefits: Paid Time Off (PTO) / Sick LeaveMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance (paid coverage for the entire family)401(k) with company match5-Year Employment Appreciation BonusWork Schedule: Monday to Friday, with flexibility as required by project needsReady to Join Our Team?If you're ready to bring your leadership, experience, and passion for building high-performing teams to a company that values accountability, grit, and excellence, apply today and help lead the future of R-2 Contractors!R-2 Contractors is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
