And we're reimagining how space can connect us, ensuring security and prosperity.In this role you will:Leading the implementation and execution of program quality requirementsManaging quality tasks across hardware, systems, and suppliers/subcontractorsPartnering with program teams as the Quality Lead for design, development, production, and mobilization phasesConducting contract reviews and flowing down contract quality requirements to the quality teamParticipating in independent program reviews to understand risks and drive Return to Green plansMaintaining effective relationships with DCMA/Customer quality teamsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college in a technical discipline (e.g., engineering field) or equivalent discipline (e.g., math, physics, chemistry, etc.) or relevant experience in lieu of degreeStrong quality processes experience or experience in a related technical disciplineAbility to interact with DoD, DCMA, and/or other government customers to build effective relationshipsAbility to conduct/coordinate process and product evaluations and assessmentsAbility to travelAbility to obtain a Secret Security Clearance and US Citizenship requiredDesired Skills:Demonstrated experience supporting program milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, MRR, etc.) as a QA or engineering point of contact with an understanding of a program life cyclePrior experience working with Mechanical Systems or Missile Body Systems (Propulsion, Structures, Ordnance and/or Controls)Experience in a Program Start-Up environment or a development program, including Project PlanningExperience defining a requirements and verification baseline, and of QA oversight of implementationExperience with Supplier Quality tools and processes, SAP/ERP, and EPDMPrior experience with Material Review Board (MRB)Quality Engineering experience with working knowledge of AS9100-based Quality Assurance Program Plan; familiarity/knowledge with Quality Assurance Requirements with various commodities (i.e. piece parts, subassemblies/module, assemblies, etc.)Green Belt Certification, with commensurate experience in applying and using this toolsetAn understanding of the LM Configuration Control processExperience participating in or conducting QA reviews including CABs, Corrective Action Plans, and Continuous Improvement projectsAbility to interface with program planning to manage the QA portion of an Integrated Master Plan (IMP)Demonstrated experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies and in developing preventive quality corrective action plans, identify, and drive systemic root cause and corrective action utilizing quantitative, qualitative analytical capabilities to clearly communicate to others in a concise, data driven mannerWorking knowledge of Cost Account Management (CAM)Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills to promote and champion an inclusive and collaborative teamwork environment that supports differences and encourages big-picture thinkingMaster's Degree from an accredited college in a technical discipline (e.g., engineering field) or equivalent discipline (e.g., math, physics, chemistry, etc.)5+ years of related experienceCurrently active Secret clearanceSecurity ClearanceThis position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.BenefitsBenefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.Lockheed Martin is an equal opportunity employer.
