The on-site Fire Safety Manager is responsible for responding to fire safety incidents across the Dallas campus. To assist in the delivery of exceptional customer service to clients and staff, and the mitigation of fire related risks to the firm's assets, people and reputation through the delivery of a range of fire safety solutions.ResponsibilitiesEnsure inspection and maintenance records for fire protection equipment comply with customer and regulatory standardsAudit fire prevention and other safety programsComplete scheduled fire service Inspections as assigned by the Fire / Life safety CoordinatorParticipate in training related to fire suppression systems, prevention, and emergency responseConduct incipient stage fire brigade training and safety drillsAssist with loss prevention surveys and follow up on facility maintenance requirementsManage impairments to fire protection systems and ensure timely resolutionMaintain complete and accurate reports and recordsRespond to emergencies in accordance with site proceduresIdentify incident trends and recommend corrective actionsEnsure compliance during construction, renovations or demolition projectsRecommend workflow or reporting Improvements for fire servicesMaintain data and records per customer retention requirementsQualifications (must Have)High school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license if driving a company or customer owned vehicleLicensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employmentCurrent and valid CPR/Basic First Aid / AED Certification or the ability to obtain within 30 days of hireCertified and trained to national standards as a Fire Inspector based on plant and legal requirementsFEMA Certification ISO700.b, ISO100.cMinimum of three (3) years of experience in a group leadership roleMinimum of five (5) years of experience in a fire prevention roleProblem-solving and workload management skills under general supervisionAbility to operate independently and use sound professional judgmentPreferred Qualifications (nice To Have)Strong analytical, planning and communication skillsCulturally competent team leader with excellent diplomacy skillsProficiency in Microsoft OfficeAbility to speak, read, and write multiple languagesBenefitsMedical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, and disability insuranceCompany's retirement plansSeven holidays annually paid at time and a half, if worked40 hours of vacation after one year of employment at eligible work assignments; unused vacation is only paid out where required by lawClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
