Third-party vendors/agencies are requested not to apply.Job Title: Sr Network EngineerLocation: Coppell, TX 75019 (Onsite)Hire Type: Contract (6 months+)Qualifications:12+ years experience requiredFirewall Administration - Security Management (IT IS)Expertise in Cisco WAN-LAN Technologies, Firewall and Security systems, Load Balancing and Data Center NetworkingPerforms network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose network problemsDesign, implement, and support a Cisco centric WAN, LAN, and WLAN environmentThis includes routers, firewalls, security, wireless, LAN switching, and Nexus Data CenterHelps maintain proper use of network monitoring systemsImplement and push firewall rules, Configure LTM, F5 pool etc.Run application performance and packet analysis using WiresharkSupport site to site VPNs and client VPN solutionsWork with emerging technologies such as SD-WAN or Data Center productsGenerate clear and concise documentation in the form of case notes, Knowledge base and network diagramsAssist with Voice over IP implementation and supportFollow proper change management processes and escalation proceduresEnsure customers receive prompt, accurate and courteous serviceEngage vendors and carriers as required to assist in troubleshooting or implementation of network solutionsAssist in the development of documentation and SOPs for the departmentAssist other team members with special projects and technology rolloutsParticipate in 24x7 on-call rotations if required and flexible for over the night and/or weekend activities.Additional Skills:Team Management, Working with customers Architects and Principal EngineerThis position is responsible for designing, installing, maintaining and supporting LAN, WLAN, WAN, TCPIP, DHCP, DNS, switching, routing, firewalls, VPNs, QoS, and VoIPInstallation and maintenance of hardware, software, troubleshooting and securityProvide high-level technical support for data network systems, creates, and maintains network documentationVersed with the advanced engineering and administration of multiprotocol routers, multilayer switches, network security devices and network management systemsThis position requires excellent troubleshooting, problem management and customer service skills.
