Gastroenterology Physician

Gastroenterology Locum Bismarck (ND) Seeking a Gastroenterology physician for hospital-based call coverage. General GI candidates will be considered, with ERCP experience highly preferred . ERCP-capable providers will receive priority review. Coverage Dates* November (ending morning of November 30) * December 23 January 3 (ending morning of January 4)Schedule & Setting* 24-hour call coverage * In-house for approximately 8 hours daily for procedures and rounding (flexible based on census) * Hospital and call coverage only No clinic * Solo coverage (no additional GI on site) * No supervision of other providersClinical Volume & Expectations* 1 2 ERCPs per week (key volume consideration) * 1 2 scopes per day on average * 1 2 new consults per day * 5 6 patients to round on daily * Management of hospitalized GI patients * Endoscopy support includes RNs and CRNAs * No NP support * EMR: EpicRequired Procedures* Colonoscopy, biopsy, polypectomy * Proctoscopy / flexible sigmoidoscopy * Hemorrhoidal banding * Upper GI endoscopy * PEG placement * Esophageal variceal banding * Management of acute GI bleeds * Dilation * Highly Preferred: ERCPCredentialing* Estimated daysRequirements* Board Certified Required * State license (pending accepted; IMLC considered) Required * BLS & DEA Required * Clean malpractice history preferred * Self-Query NPDB (within 30 days) Required at presentation * Case logs required at presentation and at offerby Jobble
