Job Description
The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient inventory control, and effective team management. As a solo manager, you will make operational decisions and hold hiring and firing authority, playing a crucial role in driving sales and maintaining smooth store functions. Occasional local travel may be required, with growth opportunities including advancement to district manager or specialized roles in merchandising and operations. Responsibilities Manage and lead the store team independently Control inventory to optimize stock levels and reduce shrinkage Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve escalated issues Train staff to enhance their skills and performance Oversee daily store operations ensuring compliance with policies Plan and execute merchandising strategies to maximize product visibility Preferred Qualifications 4 years of retail management experience Associate's Degree in Business or related field Proficient in retail management and team leadership Experienced in inventory management and sales forecasting Strong skills in customer service and staff training Knowledgeable in merchandising and store operations Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
