Payroll Clerk

For both new construction and renovation projects, we offer design-build/design-assist, value engineering, and CAD services, working with biotech, healthcare, commercial, transportation, and technology companies, as well as many government agencies. Job SummaryEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Collect time records submitted via various means and accurately enter the data into the payroll processing system within established deadlines Process payroll related documentation relating to new employees, terminations and transfers Assist with new hire onboarding process (off-site) Maintain spreadsheets and track various payroll data Maintain and organize various filing systems Prepare payroll records for off-site storage Assist with copying, filing and other administrative payroll projects Assist with HR projects and assignments as needed Skills and Attributes:Exercises a high degree of confidentiality while maintaining various employment records and other sensitive information for the company Strong interpersonal skills Attention to detail is required Exceptional organizational skills Problem-solving and investigative skills Ability to work quickly without sacrificing work quality Excellent time management skills to meet established deadlines Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related task as needed Salary Range: $24.50-$25.50/hour dyndcLI-dyndcLI-HVACjobsLI-OnsiteQualificationsMinimum one year experience of payroll entry, calculation and submissions preferred Experience with employee onboarding process a plus Proficiency with Excel and MS Word (experience with ViewPoint payroll system a plus) Bi-lingual (i.e. Spanish) a major plus Physical DemandsThe physical demands of this position must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for an extended period of time and frequently stand and walk. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel: and reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move office equipment up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include viewing computer monitors. Most work is performed in an office environment during normal business hours.
