Welding Engineer (Entry Level)

Thisrole involves collaborating with design, production, and qualityassurance teams to ensure that welding operations meet industrystandards and project specifications.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** Help with design, development, and implementation of weldingtechniques, procedures, and applications to meet specifications andquality standards. Oversee welding inspections, testing, and certification processes toensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements. Manage welding-related aspects of projects, including planning,budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with other departments. Provide technical guidance and support to welding personnel andother departments regarding welding methods, material selection, andequipment. Help identify and implement process improvements to enhance weldingefficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality. Train and mentor welding staff on new techniques, safety practices,and equipment usage. Maintain accurate records of welding procedures, qualifications, andinspection results; prepare detailed reports and documentation. Ensure all welding activities comply with health and safetyregulations, conducting risk assessments and implementing safetymeasures.Promote and actively embrace the concept of professionalism, with anemphasis on quality, commitment, integrity, ingenuity, teamwork, thecommunity, and the environment. Safety is a deeply rooted cultural valueand it must be promoted and enforced at all times.Minimum Qualifications/Experience:\Bachelors degree in Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,Materials Science, or a related field. Minimum of 0-5 years ofexperience in welding engineering or a related role within amanufacturing or construction environment. Certified Welding Engineer (CWE) or Certified Welding Inspector(CWI) certification preferred. Proficiency in welding techniques (e.g., TIG, MIG, SMAW), andnon-destructive testing (NDT) methods. Experience with CAD software, and other relevant engineering tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability totroubleshoot and resolve welding issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the abilityto collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects ofwork. It is essential for employees tomaintain awareness of their surroundings and when required, wear thenecessary PPE.
