Stock Clerks provide counter service to RGRTA employees to issue parts that are currently in inventory. The Stock Clerk will also perform various inventory control support functions such as cycle counts, data entry in inventory systems, and stocking shelves.This is an hourly position and the rate of pay will be $18.50 to $21.50 per hour.Provide quality customer service to include but not limited to the followingAttention to detailMeet and greet customersReview supplied requisition forms to ensure they are properly completed (Signatures, timestamps, part numbers, descriptions and quantities)Pull inventory from shelves and issue to RGRTA personnelInform customers when requested parts are availableInventory Management RequirementsGenerating Sales Orders for parts issuedPerforming weekly inventory cycle countsRestocking shelvesOther RequirementsFollow established guidelines for vehicle and equipment maintenance Provide 24 hour support at the RGRTA location during emergenciesTravel to vendor locations to pickup partsAssist with inventory research projects as requestedAdhere to required proceduresAssist with Store Manager duties as assignedAssist in generating invoices for customer requisitions in the inventory systemAssist in entry of vendor receiving documents in the inventory systemAssist in performing counts during Wall to Wall inventories at site1 year computer experience24-hour availabilityValid Driver’s License with two years driving experienceAttention to detail and adhere to required procedures1 year Inventory experience1 year Customer Service RoleExperience in inventory/point of sale applicationsASE Certification1 year experience in Asset Works software package1 year experience with transit bus parts1 year experience with auto and/or HD truck partsMedium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Lifting, Reaching, Sitting, Standing, Stooping, Walking
