Design And Construction- Mission Critical, Vice PresidentAt the center of the firm's most critical real estate and digital infrastructure investments, you will own delivery outcomes across regions, partners, and capital programs, ensuring reliability, scalability, and operational readiness for the next generation of data centers.As the Design and Construction- Mission Critical, Vice President on the Global Real Estate team, you will lead the planning, design, construction, and commissioning of complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) infrastructure across a growing global portfolio. Acting as the owner's representative, you will integrate internal teams and third-party partners to deliver high-value assets safely and predictably, aligned with enterprise standards. This work enables business continuity, technology growth, and long-term operational resilience.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide portfolio level leadership for the data center real estate programs from predevelopment planning through handoverOwn delivery outcomes for schedule, cost, quality, risk and operational readinessOversee design, construction, commissioning, training, and closeout/turnover activities across multiple projectsEstablish governance and performance expectations for third-party project managers, cost managers and consultantsLead procurement strategy, contract administration, and change management activitiesCoordinate closely with internal stakeholders including Technology, Engineering & Operations, Security, Finance and ProcurementReview designs and construction methodologies for constructability, risk, and execution feasibilityServe as escalation point for cross-programmatic issues requiring executive decision makingEnsure alignment with GRE Data Center standards, security requirements, and commissioning best practicesDrive consistent reporting, risk visibility, and partner engagement across the programsSupport next generation data center predevelopment and long-term capacity planningRequired Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:10+ years leading large-scale, mission-critical or mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and process construction programs.Proven experience delivering complex data center or critical infrastructure projectsStrong background in engineering, construction management, or data center operationsDemonstrated ability to manage multi-project portfolios and external delivery partnersExpertise in schedule, cost, risk and change management at a program levelExperience administering consultant and contractor agreementsAbility to balance technical rigor with business, cost, and schedule prioritiesStrong executive communication, leadership presence, and judgementWorking knowledge of data center construction techniques, systems, and local codesAbility to escalate issues appropriately and drive timely decisionsPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (advanced degree, certifications or professional engineering licenses)Experience overseeing hyperscale or multi-campus data center portfoliosDirect exposure to Utility coordination, substations, and infrastructure upgradesBackground working across multiple geographies and regulatory environmentsExperience with alternative procurement models and commissioning programsFamiliarity with operational readiness and security requirementsDemonstrated success leading through third-party PM and Cost Management modelsAbout UsJPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
