Underground Equipment Operator

Celerity Integrated Services, a telecommunications/construction company based in Quakertown, PA, is currently looking for an experienced FT Underground Equipment Operator to be part of our Construction Department. We need someone who has the ability to operate a mini excavator, backhoe, skid steer, chain trencher. Also, directional drilling experience would be a plus. CDL-A preferred. We offer free health insurance for all FT employees.Essential Job Duties And ResponsibilitiesPerforms a variety of tasks involving manual labor for telecommunication construction projectsAssists in providing support to other construction technicians to facilitate efficient workflowHauls and hoists materials as neededResponsible for organization of toolsResponsible for trimming trees and clearing brush at job sitesAssists in confined space entryAssists with traffic control services in work zonesEnsures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followedCommunicates effectively with other team members and supervisory personnelPhysical And Other RequirementsThe employee must regularly carry, move, push, pull, install, and/or remove tools and equipment weighing up to 95 pounds. The employee must be physically able to safely operate a variety of machinery and equipment including shovels, rakes, sledgehammers, pickaxes, excavators, plows, trenchers, company vehicles, and other telecommunications or construction equipment.Education and ExperienceValid driver's license: CDL-A a plus but not requiredTwo years of telecommunications field experience a plusForklift/heavy equipment operator experience; certification preferredFlagger certification (or obtained within six months of hire)High school diploma or equivalent preferredWorking ConditionsEmployee will regularly work outdoors in various weather conditions. The successful candidate for this position will be able to work at elevated heights, in manhole systems and confined spaces.
